We are almost there, just another couple of hundred kilometres to Adelaide, our first destination in our travels.
Yesterday morning we took a 30 minute walk on the trail near the RV overnight camp. we are now trying to get at least some exercise each day, something we didn’t focus on during the Nullarbor crossing.
We always enjoy the last section of the drive, first the views during to Iron Knob, then the wonderful views of the Flinders Ranges driving to Port Augusta. We took some video on the GoPro which I hope to get processed in our few days in Adelaide. This is our fourth crossing, by the way.
We chose Crystal Brook because it was the right distance from Kimba for our driving style, but we are glad we did. The overnight camping is now right next to the town centre. I don’t remember walking down this street last time we stayed here, but even though we arrived late yesterday we enjoyed walking along the Main Street with its beautiful, well kept, historical buildings. there is also a tunnel under the railway with artwork.
