Warwick – Day 2
The day became very windy, but in the early morning there was no wind and it wasn’t particularly cold. We had a fairly lazy morning, getting up late and taking things easy. I did some washing and changed our bed linen. It’s quite a difficult job to make our bed, but worth it when everything looked tidy.
I had another try with the special shampoo and my hair is now slightly pink. I will try again tomorrow to see if I can get my fringe a bit pink, at the moment it looks as though I left it out altogether.
I made friends with this slightly sad looking pony in a field behind the caravan park. He let me stroke his face.

We had an early lunch and were having a wee nap when Graeme came to pick us up for an outing. We went first to the Leslie Dam. The featured image is of carvings of the two Leslie brothers (we think). Quite striking.

Afterwards, Graeme took us to a Coffee Club for coffee and cake. We had three cakes and divided each by 3 so that we could taste them all.

As a part of the exploration Graeme took us through the town centre and on a tour of the churches. There are many buildings in beautiful and unique local limestone. We asked if we could do some grocery shopping, so we went to Woolworths to stock up on fruit, etc.
We finished the day back at our van at about 5.30 p.m. It is still very windy and feels pretty cold outside. We have had the heater on for the first time in ages. We later switched over to the diesel heater to warm up the bathroom.
